Welcome to the District of Columbia Office of Tax and Revenue. Among the many key features in this effort is our state-of-the-art Customer Service Center, located on the first floor of 941 North Capitol Street, NE, Washington, DC, where taxpayers can get all tax-related information from one place instead of having to contact different sources for information on individual, business, and real property taxes. Additionally, several new initiatives - such as electronic filing, direct deposit of refunds, tax payment by credit card, and free individual DC tax preparation services - are making the tax-filing process even easier. For your convenience, you can also now download tax forms and instruction booklets from the comfort of your home computer.
The Office of Tax and Revenue is moving closer to its objective of being a national model for effective and efficient tax administration.
