William Robinson serves as Chief Financial Officer for the DC Lottery and Charitable Games Control Board for the District of Columbia and has been in this position since July 2000. Robinson supervises approximately 20 employees and manages more than $223 million for the DC Lottery and Charitable Games Control Board. Prior to his appointment as CFO, Robinson was the Assistant CFO and Associate Director of Finance and Administration.

Robinson joined the District Government in 1983 as a Supervisory Accountant for the DC Lottery and has since held a number of positions within the agency. He was the Assistant for Financial Services and Program Manager for 11 years, serving as the agency's Controller where he managed accounting and financial control functions. He also planned, directed and managed all phases of accounting and budget related operations while supervising a staff of 10. During his tenure in the Finance and Administration Department of the DC Lottery he was credited as a key player in producing record revenues of $230 million during fiscal year 1995 and generating a profit of $85 million or 37 percent. He has over 20 years experience in financial management, accounting, and auditing in the public and private sectors.
