About the Office of Budget and Planning

The Office of Budget and Planning (OBP) serves under the District's Office of the Chief Financial Officer. Managed by its deputy chief financial officer, OBP assists the Mayor in developing the District's annual budget, represents the District in the federal appropriations process, and monitors the District's budget performance over the fiscal year.
